A prequel to Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, in Klingon Academy you
study the art of war under the guidance of General Chang, the Empire's
greatest living warrior. Take command of a lowly Bird of Prey and work your
way up to the massive Accuser Dreadnought in a simulated war with the
Federation. But be warned, the gravest threats to the Klingon Empire lurk
within its heart.

Command true capital ships, with a wide range of weapons, subsystems, and
other abilities. Plot your course wisely, or your enemies will tear into
your hull while you maneuver for position.

Choose your battlefield. Interactive space terrain lets you hide in gas
giants, ambush your foes in planetary rings, and dance with death on the
razors edge of a black hole. Watch out though, for terrain can have unusual
effects on your ship and its systems.

Destroy your enemies piece by piece. KA's ginsu system lets you blast
holes through their hulls, crack open their decks, and set them ablaze.

Master the art of damage control, or wind-up a shattered hulk yourself.

Fire phasers, overload your photon torpedoes, decloak to unleash a savage
volley of disruptor fire, trap your opponents in a tholian web, and master
10 weapons systems new to the Trek Universe).

Never take you eyes off the battle. Use the Verbal Orders System (VOS) to
command your ship. Never be more than four keystrokes away from an order.

Create power and damage control macros to reconfigure your ship's resources
from the press of a button.

Fight as a Klingon in a simulated war with the Federation and then take
sides as a civil war engulfs the Empire. Use Quick Battle to command
Klingon, Federation, Romulan, Tholian, Gorn and Shakurian ships in fights of
your own making.

Destroy your friends and crush your enemies in multiplayer
games with up to 6 people. Just remember, in space, no one can hear you
scream...

Quick Battle and player created missions let you command 9 different types
of Klingon and 35 different types of alien warships, as well all the
non-combatant craft.
